What would happen if abortion became illegal in the U.S.? Imagine that the abortion laws were changed. Any type of abortion was illegal for either the United States. The punishment would be imprisonment in a federal prison. What would happen if abortion became illegal in the U.S.? Would most Americans be praised and recognized, or if the majority is anger and resentment?
1. The punishment would be imprisonment in a federal prison.
Besides the fact that there will be an increase in the lane and unsafe abortions, there will be a growing population of women and mothers in prison. This will put pressure on existing services in child protection, social services, and will be a need for more women's prisons, thus raising taxes.
2. What would happen if abortion became illegal in the U.S.?
Women are more depressed in general (being forced to go through an unplanned pregnancy / unwanted), the rights of women to get off the tube (the government will own body), and many children will suffer ugly, horrible fate in life. There will also be an increase in crime over the long term because of this.
3. Would most Americans be praised and recognized or if the majority is anger and resentment?
I think most Americans grow to hate it, and it would quickly reversed. I do not think would ever happen in a free America.
My opinion is that there is a subset of religious people closed-minded in the United States would be delighted.
Abortion will never be banned. When people talk of reversing Roe vs. Wade, they refer to the cancellation of subsidized federal abortion (meaning taxpayer funded). The federal government should have nothing to do with a medical decision. It must be left between the individual, physician, and the laws of the State and the individual lives in. taxpayers (especially pro-life taxpayers) should not be forced to pay for any abortion. ... It should be the responsibility of the individual. The prohibition of abortion is a method of sowing fear is used to distract voters from real issues going on in this country. Abortion is not really a big problem of our time. State's rights are a huge problem, leading to the current constitutional crisis we are in. I think if the decision is left to the states, the debate on abortion would cease.
Abortions would still be made. I think it would be much abortionists qualified this time, although trained in modern techniques, which possess the necessary equipment and justified by the fact that abortion is legal for a while until shortly before. As the abortion pill (RU-486) and birth control emergency exists now, if you also people illegally manufacturing drugs.
Well, I think it would be more angry that people ecstatic just because the anger of those who feel like they had a fundamental right would be removed much more than meeting the people who thought that it should have been illegal all along. I also think there are many people who are indifferent to abortion - they use it and can afford reliable birth control or have never had a pregnancy scare, or they are in a relationship committed and really want to become speaker.
Maybe if it were made illegal it would soon become obvious to many people once opposed as an evil is necessary, despite .. He is currently a large number of skilled labor, abortion and well equipped in this country, they would be forced to go underground and many probably increase their prices to offset the risk of prison. The number of women can not afford or find someone to perform an abortion for them increase, so this would be the number of danger.
