Abortion Help

Abortion HelpWhat arguments can help me win a debate on pro-life (abortion)?

I need more facts on abortion.

Check "101 reasons not to have an abortion." (Free downloadable e-book)

Although written for women contemplating abortion, the arguments are about the same. The book has stories, quotes, arguments and reasons and you are welcome to quote what you want for your debate. Good luck. :)

Most women regret their abortion and sink into depression.
They wished they had chosen adoption.

Piano answer is cold and unfeeling. I have known many women who wished they had chosen adoption, instead of terminating their pregnancy. You do not need to hand your baby over to a stranger. Most cases are now open adoption. My best friend does not see anymore because of two abortions she had when she was younger. It leaves scar tissue in the uterus walls. Do your homework, KnowItAll! Your "statistics" facts are written right on a subway wall.

Well, if they say that the fetus has never really had a life, we can say-

If you had a child born two years in a comma and decided that you do not want it you kill the child? (It does not matter how it is unlikely that the principal)

When you kill a fetus is a way worse than murder. when you kill someone you are angry against them and is very human, but when you kill a fetus there is no sentiment in play, it's just selfishness and is not that what we all hate the most about ourselves?

If the way they argue the potential of life is not the same as their real life almost everyone has rights and just because you marry someone does not mean you have to you, but should have the right to do as a fetus has the right to life and become a great person, no one should remove that right.

It is not their decision to kill the child he was their choice to have sex and they have to face the consequences.

Women never get over an abortion and it is a choice that haunts them for the rest of their lives.

You did not need loads of things you should say what is right and what is wrong and why not a list of numbers or something. People need to connect with your answer so just make a good argument and passionate. Sorry to all you scientists out there but I thought the debates were conducted in English class is not science.

Buttercups answer is not a fact. As scientific inquiry she come to the conclusion that most women regret it.

Ohhh ... compared to women who abandon their children with strangers??? Hmmm ... this is not a fact.

All I can say is watch your opponents arguments and try to refute them. I can not give more details because I am Pro Choice and I do not know what you can say you would win.

Buttercup: First, Im not here to give figures or claiming the majority of women and what most women. This question asks for facts ... I just wonder, how do you think your statement is factual? I can easily say that I know many women who say an abortion was the best decision they did. I do not expect all women to feel the same, but Im not on here claiming "most" women do or do not regret ... this is something that you came with. This is not a fact.
