u are awake during a surgical abortion and it is very painful and how long does it take to heal? I would like someone who had an abortion to tell me what the procedure is similar. I'm so scared and I would like to know how u are awake while the doctor performs surgery and pain during the procedure much. So how do the bed rest you need before you return to normal
I heard there are two options: either general anesthesia where you are put to sleep and wake up after it's over, with the drawback being that you need some1 give you back home, and then with a local anesthesia, they numb the cervix, so you do feel pain very ill at ease, and you no longer need some1 to give you a return to the house and you can eat and drink before too. with the general, you can not eat something or anything not even a sip of water after midnight before the procedure.
Thank you all for your experience with abortion that you have all been very helpful. I guess that's me to do what feels good. Thank you all for your help. Flag
Wake up during a surgical abortion? " I highly doubt it! Ugh. Report Abuse
Yes you are awake during a surgical abortion, it is especially painful cramps after two days are recommended bed rest to heal physically after.
I had one when I was 6wks along and they knocked me after I have no physical pain and no recovery time, I was fine, but emotionally it was very painful and horrible. It makes me sick to think about it.There is a movie called the silent cry, you should see. Look online. The babies try so hard to escape the doctors who committed this horrible act. They tear the baby's arms and legs and turn her body or the baby and blow him out in pieces, it is horrible and cruel. My 19 when I had an abortion, and I've done in haste. My friend was "not ready" to be a father, and he did not want to marry me either. I did not tell my parents because I thought they hate me, but they eventually find out when my emotional distress led to a nervous breakdown and had to be institutionalized. Abortion is not just a simple procedure. It can and will ruin your life. first-trimester abortion has been linked to a strong increase in the risk of developing breast cancer during her lifetime. Once you have an abortion, you can not go back. Tell your parents or another love one, get some support, and take your time to decide if you want to keep your baby or adopting. I beg you not to have abortions. I do regret all the days of my life.
The procedure is very simple. People are generally very nice and understanding. From my experience, it wasn't painful at all. They fall asleep with a needle and gas, they do the procedure and then you wake up in a hospital bed. Obviously you feel tired and pasty, but I had no pain. After I felt better, they offered m.
