What are the chances of a pregnancy test accurate? I had unprotected sex last Wed night?
The first day of my last period was May 21
What are the chances that the pregnancy test will be accurate at present or in the morning
It is much too early. At home pregnancy tests are not accurate until you are at least 5 or 6 weeks along. They measure the levels of hCG in the urine and if hCG levels are not high enough, the house can not detect them. Many pregnant women were tested, but because they too soon, they have tested negative repeatedly.
Your best bet is to head to your doctor's office so they can do a blood test. Blood tests can be done as early as 2 weeks along. Planned Parenthood offers a urine test which is the same type that you can buy over the counter. The blood test detects hCG in the blood that is easier to detect than hCG in the urine stream.
a store to buy a pregnancy test is 99.98% accurate at 48 hours after the fact.
A nurse told me.
wait two weeks and then test. Good luck
It is too early. Wait at least three weeks after sex to test. You can test sooner, but you are more likely to get a false negative result.
I think Babblin 'must mean within 48 hours after missing your period. It may take a week or more just for the implant, and a test will not show positive at this point.
