Im a professional life guard in a private pool and community, there are several security risks wut do I do? im working at the facility has several things that if something (eg drowning) should happen, we have adequate working equipment to engage in the situation.
Heres a list of problems-
1) our panel is missing 2 of 5 straps,
and 3 that are there are literally attached to,
in a node, and loops missing.
2) We have a spare mask from 1993 when we opened, and passed the expiration date, the air will not correctly pass through
3) We AED NO!
it is the most important
because every minute, the victim does not get the artificial shock, it lowers the survival rate of 10%
4) We have 12 other guard our facilities and five of them havent renewed their CPR certification for 2 years (which must be done each year)
and
5) days of the week we have three guards
Monday to Thursday and a few guards to teach swimming lessons, and one of those days where I worked,
the two other guards were the lessons,
and if something were to happen, we would

Well, the previous poster is terribly vile .... Honey, you have been reported.
The question, surely there must be some kind of entitly who would inspect the facility. I am very surprised that this kind of business, private or not, with a pool is not an annual inspection.
Perhaps a call to local fire marshal would be a good place to start. If nothing else, they will be able to point you in the right direction where to start. You can also ask your local Red Cross or the ambulance service.
And I would do something as soon as possible. You have every reason to be worried.
