Aed Test

Aed TestIs it allowed to AED electrodes on someone likely to have cardiac arrest in advance?

Suppose there are symptoms of heart attack (chest pains, etc.) and you called an ambulance. The victim is conscious, but still very well have cardiac arrest in a minute or two.

Is it allowed to AED electrodes to that person simply cast in advance and spend AED to start testing before the ambulance arrives? otherwise what is the risk? AED will advise shock for someone without cardiac arrest?

Why are you considering using any defib if you need to seek advice on Y! A regarding its use.

My only advice is it needs to be operated by trained personnel, not just enthusiastic spectators.

Yes, if you suspect a heart failure or cardiac arrest, you can put the AED pads on the person ......... The machine counselor if you are able to shock or not ........ more defibs will not be a shock unless they have a shockable rhythm of heart rate ........

NO NO NO. And if you could ask this question, you should not use the electrodes.
