Also all the websites / forums that you know that I can go to talk too much ambulance people would be a great help ..... any answer would be Fab ... and any advice would be very grateful .. Thank you all! oh and also I had a lung Embolisim earlier this year it would go against me when I apply?

We are in Dorset and they were advertising for this position in our local paper - with all the necessary training - if it is not so difficult to obtain in the south!

Good luck xx

First: you must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Next: interviewer want to know your work history and the history of your volunteers.

At some point you will be asked why you want to do this kind of work.

They will be invited before you are being sponsored to take an EMT course.

Hello
and, unfortunately, times change.
ambulance services now require many degrees paramedics.

You'll also need the ability to drive larger vehicles - ambulance services will pay for it while others do not.

If you're willing to travel - apply to all areas - places on the web.

To be honest, the road diploma will be your best bet.

You volunteer work is with the Red Cross as ambulance or AJS IHCD if so it can not count much.

Good luck
