side effects of chemotherapy (Please answer in detail at the molecular level, if possible)? This is an assignment that they gave me in Grade 12 Biology last week I did some research of my own but is very basic and general knowledge .. Please help, and describe how chemotherapy drugs affect the different systems at the molecular level.
QUESTION:
Chemotherapy works by destroying cancer cells. An unfortunate side effect is that normal, healthy cells are destroyed as well. Search common side effects of chemotherapy, and explain how these drugs affect the homeostasis in the various body systems (development of blood cells, nervous system, endocrine system and excretory system.)
Please don t give me a general answer, because all the research I've done has been very general and basic. A detailed response would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your help!
I am a specialist cancer chemotherapy
- Medical Oncologist with 20 years experience.
What you ask would require a complete manual.
There are over 100 drugs listed under the umbrella term "chemotherapy".
Everyone has a different molecular structure.
Each have different effects at the cellular molecular.
You must choose a chemotherapy drug for specific information.
If you search for "chemotherapy", you will only get general information.
Choose a medicine and research. Taxol is a good one.

You can take this one in Science and Mathematics> medicine. Some docs loiter there regularly.
Generally only people who cures cancer and rubber-Necker here.
WTF did you just copy word for word the question sheet question????
Maybe you should make another question, if u do not understand it. chaperones are the BOMB!
Unfortunately, it seems that you have to do more complex searches using up to date library of books on the subject. Let's start by examining the various body symptoms, and then how cancer affects them. I do not think you'll find online everything in depth.
You can also find a med student or professor looking for a university to help in your search - they know a lot.
