Should I go to London from Dallas? I am a doctor of chiropractic, who will have the chance to go to London to join a clinic in Ealing. My wife is British and was educated in the United Kingdom - we lived in Dallas for two years - any ideas? Is the move worth it?? We are flexible, but the money would be the main factor!
Ealing is not a bad part of town. Life here is not as good as in the United States there is a recession about to explode here.
overall I think you'll fit in all cases and at least you ask questions. why burn bridges yet? Try us to say six months in a rented place, then decide. goo luck
WoW! Nice! I am inclined to change yourself! You can always come back or who knows change is the growth ,......
Why not? Nothing ventured, nothing gained - I'm sure you'll have a wonderful experience.
I would jump at the chance to get around London is a wonderful place to live with some of the friendliest people you will ever encounter even though it is very expensive here you go.
Yeah. It sounds like a great opportunity. Why not try it at least for a few years? The cost will be significant if you are right on this point.
We did it! We left Dallas two years to settle in London and I do not regret one second. I love living here, I love traveling around Europe (so much easier here in Dallas, lol!). There is much more expensive, but if you can afford it, then do it.
