Concord SpcaQuestions about the raw food diet?

So me and my boyfriend are toying with the idea of getting a puppy bun. We're both very knowledgeable about dogs, but its been several years since we had one. So, because I am aware that puppies are hard work, and can be a lot of money, I want to be fully prepared. I am aware of the different dog foods available, I worked in harmony for pets for some time a few years ago, and gave a lot of "advice dog food" but I've never heard about the raw diet.'m really all about eating what you're supposed to eat naturally, and although I know nothing about the raw diet, it seems that it is a system that gives dogs what they are really suppose to be. Can someone explain to me what the plan first? What does it involve? I mean I do not know anything about that, do you buy it in Shop for pets, or do you do? I know that sounds stupid, but I do not know. If you could also explain the advantages and disadvantages of the scheme, if you recommend, and the costs generals involved in setting a small race in the plan? Im trying to decide if this is the right plan for "Pickles" (my future puppy )..... Now there is no reason to be rude, Im do not try to tell any other food credit, and also, I am not "ignorant about dogs and is not ready for a puppy" I had dogs my whole life, worked in a veterinary office as a kid, my family bread boxers responsible kid, I took obedience classes. I worked in a PetStore and use of fly SPCA ..... And I am a responsible owner and loving pet, so please, not only because im attracts uninformed about the raw food diet. Thank you guys:)

To answer a couple of your questions ... No, you do not buy a pet believed. You buy real meat from a butcher or grocery store, or you can get meat by hunters or farmers, if you know one. A diet that is fed first is essentially a system of most meat, bones, and some offal. Most beginners start with a ratio of meat to about 80%, 10% bone, and organ of 10%. Half of the meat should be organ liver. You can adjust the contribution of bone according to your dogs stools if they are loose, you add more bone .. if they are dry and hard, add more meat. Want to know more about supplementing with Omega 3 and links to forums.
