With today's acceptance of "safe sex", more and more kids are playing with fire, and burns. The consequences are an afterthought, but it is often too late. The girls scramble to get help and answers, the boys thought they loved them suddenly disappear, or recommend abortions, and these young girls (many of whom have just finished playing with their baby dolls ) are confused and afraid. All the terrible realities of life hit them in the face and they see how they are unprepared to deal with these difficulties, as they begin to ask questions about the future and the options available to them.

Many doors in the spiritual life are open when these questions are asked, but Christians need to proceed with caution when talking to these young women. They need to feel safe, free to talk about their struggles, and not forced to choose with whom they do not feel comfortable. Some words that might be the first to pop into the mind of a believer when attending, but must be used with caution, and not from the beginning. Some words are:

aec "Anger"
aec "Judgement"
aec "sin"
aec "Hell"

While believers may see the truth of these words in the Bible, and how they may relate to the spiritual life of young women (as they do to all non-believers), they must understand that life changes taking place at these women and their struggles with a lot of negative thoughts. It is very important for them to feel they have someone to talk to them all that overwhelming, without feeling that they are tried and convicted.

So what is a good approach that allows them to feel comfortable enough to speak, and also allows believers to share the truth of the Bible?

aec Allow them to freely share their feelings, questions, etc., without interruptions to correct or inform. It is always useful to know the whole story and get an idea of their lives and emotions. It also helps to ease and accepted, and will be open to discussion.

aec Address each question and the question raised by young women, rather than just try to give them the gospel. Without knowledge of the Scriptures that the believer, they will not understand why their important issues are put aside.

aec The questions most frequently asked questions can be directly linked to spiritual questions, and helping them to get answers, God can not be brought into the picture. It is very important as it is presented as loving and just - it can not be more than one year and less than the other.

aec It is almost impossible to answer questions without giving a certain point the Gospel. The important thing to remember is that many women may not have the background of the Bible or the knowledge of God, so just give them the gospel can not help them clearly see their need of a Savior . In answering questions and show the relationship to spiritual things, they will hopefully begin to see a spiritual need, and ask you to learn more. It is an ideal opportunity to take them through the entire Bible so they can see the big picture of a holy God, helpless sinners, Jesus, the deputy and personal faith, they should have.

While many may find this type of evangelization to be difficult, it becomes a need, now more desperate. There are many centers dedicated to providing advice, and many are accused of simply trying to make more changes to a specific denomination. The approach is so important! Have a heart for helping young women live differently, not only to keep their child alive, but to really see and understand what God has done and is doing.
