Can a dental hygienist pay will depend on the degree? Can a dental hygienist afford better with a Bachelor of an associate degree? If so how do they pay? So what is a good community college in California to get a dental hygienist program easier? And if I get an associate degree, can I work in health care in schools or government enterprise?
The salary is the same. Dentists do not care too much what degree you have, you are good in your work. The degree opens more doors if you want to go the way of business and working for one of the major companies. Moreover, its important if you want to go into teaching or research. My wife version of BA because it could try to make a business some day.
As far as I know, the fees are set
I would never hire a hygienist who does not have a degree. If I hire someone to really treat my patients I expect to have a more advanced education available. if I did not have a hygienist with a Bachelor available, so obviously I'll pay a little less to someone who is less educated.
Find out what you want below.
Hygienest are paid in two ways. Once they are both equally allowed either side must be equal. The training may help you advance in the management, tailored to fit that you want to do (eg dental sales, management, training, etc.)
An hourly rate with certain performance targets
A production rate, which is essentially a commission rate on patients seen.
Why a rate of production? Well this is not to push people around. Instead of keeping her busy. Dr. offices are really selling time. So time unsold equivalent to a loss of money. A guard hygienest full schedule, but with a base of general recall. That patients she has seen before and keep coming back. While she does not win everyone, especially the patient.
Yes. Their level of education is very important as in any field.
