Dental Procedure Codes

Dental Procedure CodesDoes anyone know the procedure codes for a crown dental porcelain and porcelain veneer?

I am trying to find out if my insurance covers crowns and veneers porceilain, but I know what the codes are.

A crown complete coverage of the porcelain is code D2740.
A lip-plating lab covers only the outer edge and the cutting of the tooth, Code D2962

Edited to add: if the veneer or crown is done for purely cosmetic reasons, your insurance will probably not pay at all.

Call a dentist office and ask them, they must give it to you by phone. If they give you a hard time telling them BS you are planning on coming to them to do.
