Getting Braces

I get my braces off a week and, today, on my appointment, they said I would get impressions of my teeth for retention. I asked them and they said they will give me a clear mandate ... I was wondering if the restraint is similar to Invisalign clear or is it the wire that passes through the teeth with the gel on the roof of the mouth. Anyway it hurt or feel weird? My aunt said that she felt when she wears a gaging and now I'm worried: (

Do not worry, it is likely Invisiline means that does not hurt at all if you wear them constantly and when they say YOU. Believe me, bring everything you can because if you do not wear them, you're teeth right shift in the way they were and it is a very painful process to get your teeth aligned again with invisiline. So I just happen to go through that now ...

They are permanent retainer on your roof forever and that you take when you eat / brush your teeth. It does not hurt but I remember I stopped wearing mine for a while and when I put it back on me gag and it gets stuck on my tooth, but I do not worry if you normally wear.
