Holistic Cancer Treatment

Hello everyone

My Staffy x Charlie has just been diagnosed with thyroid cancer, he just had her radiation treatment yesterday. I am trying to find an experienced, highly recommended soft VET in Sydney that I can see on your diet, herbal supplements, etc.

Has anybody used a holistic veterinarian to treat their cancer pet? If it was a success? And secondly can you recommend a good geniune, holistic veterinarian experienced than I can take my little man?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the U.S., I can not help you find a holistic veterinarian in Sydney. But I used to tech for a well respected veterinary internist. We have had several clients who went to a holistic veterinarian in another state. They drove a long way to see the veterinarian. Then we would follow up care. One case we had was a dog with a rectal tumor. The dog lived for several years, but the owner had the tumor surgically reduced several times. It was an aggressive cancer, and finally killed the dog but the dog lived a few years longer than it should.
We also had another dog who had a brain tumor. The owner went to the vet himself. The dog lived for about 9-12 months with brain tumor.
