Has anyone had a condition called endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial ablation tried for treatment? I'm considering an endometrial ablation rather than hysterectomy or hormone therapy. Has anyone had this condition and, if so, which way do you go and do the results are good? Thank you for taking the time to read this.
I'm going to get a abaltion uterine next month. Sures It looks like a better plan for me than surgery and hormone treatment has been a nightmare. Hopefully we're both successful!
What? Try Yahoo or Google for these kinds of things, there is still a membership organization, you can ask. This way, you are taken very seriously with people today the problem instead of a response within ten seconds.
Anyway good luck.
I went with the hysterectomy on ablation - In fact, I spoke with 3 different OB-GYN. Based on my history, hysterectomy is the best option. As I recall, the procedure you are talking about is not a guarantee that I would not have any problems, and was brief, simply postpone hysterectomy a few years. One of my friends do ablation (gift?) - It worked for her. If you have questions about options, I would consult another doctor.
I am a much happier person without the insanely long and painful periods. It was a difficult choice, knowing that I would not be able to have more children. I came to the conclusion that if I had to have more children in my life, they need not be organic.
