Is there anyone here through the breast cancer treatment? I'm going through treatment for inflammatory breast cancer since 2004. I'm fine, had a set back years, but overall, it's good. I went through two separate times of radiation, three separate times of chemo and a mastectomy. Let me know how you do and what you've been through.
Please read the details on the page below. I am sure you will find some useful information for you.
I do not personally buy my step-mother. She first had breast cancer 15 years ago and underwent a mastectomy. He recently returned and metastesized in his blood and bones. She attended six months of chemotherapy and steroids and a lot of pain. Currently there is no sign of her, (she is in remission again) but of course with cancer you never know. We're just happy to have him around
Let me say God bless you! Breast cancer is something horrible to happen. Not only the patient but the family too. I do not wish this on anyone. But I know you will get through. Stay positive.
Hello
I went through a double mastectomy the previous year to March. Fortunately for me, they took the form of cancer early. I had a lumpectomy in my left breast in January, was scheduled for radiation when they found more cancer and that is why I asked the mastectomy is when my doctors said they would not unless I did both because so much goes into my chest so I said okay! I've never been sorry for that decision. As they have taken very soon I did not have to do radiation or chemotherapy. To which I was very grateful I had my annual mammogram is when they found the cancer, he has not formed a block at the moment.
I have never regretted my decision, but you sometimes think, if just reading the different cancer sites I realize how happy I was. I had two surgeries and healed quickly without any problem, in fact, to the amazement of my doctors.
My thoughts are with you and my prayers, because it is a difficult disease. Do you have lots of support around you?
