International Tadeeb Lives On! Tadeeb International Life!
After an unavoidable delay, Tadeeb international award-winning bilingual (Urdu / English), cultural and literary magazine, will be published again in January 2009. As before, the log will be produced in Islamabad, Pakistan, under the leadership of Hameed Qaiser, its editor in Urdu, and will be distributed from Islamabad and Bradford, United Kingdom. The British publisher, Helen Goodway, distribute half of the launch of at least 500 of Bradford. We owe a debt of gratitude to a generous private donor and Bradford Metropolitan District Council respectively to subsidize the production and distribution of the new issue.
2007 saw the publication of the fourth issue of International Tadeeb under the jurisdiction of a grant from the Arts Council England, Yorkshire. As mentioned previously, the quality of it we gained seventh place on land of 170 observations into account, in the International Network of Writers and Community Society (Incwriters) Outstanding contribution to literature (magazines) 200 8. (Www.incwriters.co.uk / award.htm).
The judges comments about Tadeeb Internationa, the flight 4-5 Issue 4-1 (Bazm-E-Tadeeb International / (http:// www.tadeeb.com ) read: "A magazine with an intriguing mix of interesting work. .. .... An original idea with a mixture of language and culture. A must watch.
The worthy winner of the competition was Banipal (http://www.banipal.co.uk/)
published and edited by Margaret Obank. Banipal focuses solely on the presentation and the presentation of the Arab authors in English translation. In addition, Tadeeb International aims to encourage new writing in Urdu or English of all kinds --- prose, poetry, criticism, cultural commentary - on all sides, but especially by young people. Recently, for this purpose, Bazm-E-Tadeeb International organized and edited, in collaboration with the British Council, Lahore (www.britishcouncil.org / Pakistan), and the Global partner schools (www.britishcouncil.org / globalschools. htm), a video-conference literary event for students in schools of Bradford and Lahore. On Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008, 5 students from schools in Bradford and six schools in Lahore have shared their literary creations with each other via video link. In Bradford, it was the culmination of a long period of preparation and effort, which included the performance of pupils in their work to Mushair International Literature Festival Ilkley (www.ilkleyliteraturefestival.org.uk) in October .
