Jaw Surgery Before And After

Jaw Surgery Before And AfterShould I undergo plastic surgery before and after jaw surgery?

By request of my orthodontist, I'll undergo surgery to correct my jaw overbite and give me a perfect smile. However, this will make my face look disproportionate if I plan to have the size of my bottom lip "reduced, rhinoplasty and fat grafting to give my face a more balanced expression.

How long after my surgery jaw could I do these surgeries? Or should I get plastic surgery done first and just move my jaw forward so that the surgeon will know what it would look like post-Jaw Surgery? Would they affect the other?

I recommend the first jaw surgery because the plastic surgeon will be better able to adjust your face to your new jaw position. It would be very difficult trying to accurately keep your jaw forward while you are under anesthesia for plastic surgery. Talk to your surgeon about the best time for both surgeries. Probably, they recommend that you wait for the swelling to go away from your first surgery before going for the second.

Can they be part of the substance at the time of cosmetic surgery, your jaw?? I do not know if you have had several surgeries ... but it is not very fun. I will try to lump some of them together. I would first jaw surgery, because it is the most important.

Just a head ... I had two surgeries the nose and it is quite disgusting for the first week. Good luck!
