London Smile

Walking around and getting people to smile, do not think it would cost them nothing? The last time I checked, you do not have to pay to smile (the last time I checked). Especially in the tube. This place is dirty. We need SMILES!

Getting bombed all the time may tend to make people unhappy. Then theres the time. And as the CO in the coalition forces had secured to suck right about now too.

When I was on vacation in England, I thought the whole country (the parts that I saw in any case, including the tube) was generally happy. Bump someone on accident and it was "Cheers! every time. Roundabouts have been a different story, no good here!

I asked a question about this long ago, cos when I go jogging I smile to joggers and others with the idea to get some solidarity in progress. People look at me with fear and horror in their eyes. I love London, but British culture in general, I think we are too suspicious of strangers, and London is the epitome of that hostility. In Latin America, you just sit on a bus next to someone and they invite you into their home, when was the last time that happened to you in London?
