Have you ever been a patient in one of those hospitals listed ...? Twenty-one NHS trusts failed to meet hygiene standards set by a new "super regulator" for the health and social services.
Trusts have been told to meet government standards for cleanliness as part of their registration with the Commission on Quality Care (CQC).
But 10 acute hospital trusts, six primary care trusts, four trusts mental health and ambulance trust has not met the criteria.
Among them, four are NHS Foundation Trusts - a status that is supposed to be a marker of excellence.
Some of these trusts have been given a deadline for taking action to meet health standards and others have placed on their registration requirements, such as the need to maintain clean rooms.
They were told to improve the decontamination of surgical equipment and develop stronger policies against infections such as MRSA, Clostridium difficile, and Legionella, which causes Legionnaires' disease.

I did not but were in different hospitals in my lifetime. Some cases dreadfully dirty, and some immaculate. So why so many fail?
Yes.I was in Coventry and Warwickshire hospital a few weeks ago.The only two years and was hell.I never been so glad to get anywhere in my mental stimulation life.No of any kind is permitted, not even headphones to listen to radio. It was actually sensory deprivation, a recognized form of torture. If Amnesty International were to visit they would have a field day. Absolutely disgusting.
So I had to undergo a procedure to follow weekend. They last made me wait for half past four to five minutes in a procedure that failed. They then phoned to make arrangements to submit to the procedure again, but I told them that was enough. No wonder people are turning to alternative medicine.
not had relations with one of these, but the 3, we as a family have had dealings with were horrible.
Dirty filthy neighborhoods,
terrible staff attitude
human error and time consuming
It is not surprising that people are dying
My son was hospitalized at the Alder Hey Children Hospital, Liverpool and the level of care and cleanliness was fantastic. I could not blame them at all.
Brown the clown should be ashamed of himself, he is more concerned hello.
