Am I going to be ripped (buff) after chemotherapy? Hello
im 16 and a junior in high school
few days ago I was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL)
My weight when I got to the hospital was 162 pounds, but today it has reached £ 172
I earned £ 10 per night
they said it was because of the steroids and the amount of liquid from the ivy, they give me
they also inserted into a port under my skin yesterday morning, so they have easy access to drugs.
The doctors said I should be able to return to school in August of the senior year
But I'll take the pill oral chemo
After my chemo I be able to exercise and be buff?
or body building?
I was diagnosed before i excercised daily
and was in great shape
but now I'm feeling very soft and slow.
Help?

Please vote for my answer, Thanks!
Unfortunately you'll probably lose most of your muscles. I really was very aggressive before starting chemo and I lost almost everything. Fortunately, you probably have the muscle memory so it will not take long to build that muscle back when your done with treatment. But until then you will have to do what you can. Most times you will not want to exercise because of the chemo.
