Red Cross Plasma Donation

Red Cross Plasma DonationIs it the Red Cross paid for plasma donations? If not, who does?

I know the Red Cross you can donate plasma and blood. I wondered if the Red Cross pays you to donate plasma. Because I'm looking for a place in Chicago that do not pay.

People choose to donate for various reasons. Whatever, at least it works! As a parent of someone who had multiple blood transfusions, I know how important this is and I am always grateful to hear from people who give everything and anything (haha). Anyway, you must call to schedule 1-800-GIVELIFE donate plasma with the Red Cross. They go to the Annex center nearest you, Chicago. I understand that you might be paid, but I think it is only around 25-35 dollars. I want to do some research on this topic.

Wow, I thought donating blood or plasma was an act of generosity. Isn't it enough to know that you helped someone in need?
In Australia, we do not get paid to donate. People do as an act of altruism.
