Snoring Mouth Guard

I have a mouthguard for my snoring, but continues to decline during the night ..... anyone has tried the strap that goes over your head and under the chin? It is supposed to keep your mouth closed so that you can not snore. I do not want the severe respiratory machine, I need something else!
