What time should I be at the clinic for STIs in St. James Hospital beat Quebec? I urgently need to get screened for STDs and I can not afford to pay for it if I know that James to the hospital free. The only thing is that I can not take days off. The clinic opens at 9am but I heard the number of people who are just unreal, so I wonder if anyone has gone and what time should I try to be there to be one of the first get tested if I am not waiting for hours?
GUM clinics all work on a system of appointment (I used to work in sexual health in a Leeds PCT) so just call to make an appointment
Dear confused:
You gotta get in line a few hours before the crowd. If it opens at 9am, I recommend you get there before 6. Sit back and camp there, like how they do when some big event happens. This is the best way to take control early before something happens.
If your work does not give you all sick days off, you should switch to a new job. People get sick, it's reality. If they dock your pay for that, then this is not a place that everyone must work for.
Take care of your body, obtain health insurance or Medicaid
At least 1:30 to 2:00. Get a folding stool you can sit on if possible - I know how it is when you go to a free clinic to do anything. It's a freaking drag because so many people there have problems with obtaining medical care, and it's getting worse by the week.
And some people do not think we need some kind of public option ... grrr
