Viral Inner Ear Infection

Viral Inner Ear Infectioninfection of the inner ear viral?

They gave me antibiotics for an infection of the inner ear two weeks ago and just finished them today, the symptoms always as bad as one day.
I had a really bad cold right before I had this ear infection ... the doctor said it was hoped and bacterial antibiotics could remedy. I was told today that it is viral since I'm still suffering from ear pain and fullness, and dizziness and vertigo extremes.
he said viral infections have barely heal, disappear of themselves.
anyone know how long these last normally? I can not stand it! Me want to live my life!

What infection do you have? If labyrinthitis, it usually takes a week or two away, sometimes it may take a month or more. It took me about two months to clear it, and years later, I still get occasional dizziness. For dizziness and vertigo, pills against evil can help a lot.
